Smartphone Basics for Beginners is a 2 Part Series of an 8 hour course spread over 4 weekly meetings designed for seniors with limited Smartphone experience. Level I will be offered free for Participants at various locations within Greater Cincinnati and lay the groundwork for creating one's Smartphone Manual. Level II will be $25.oo which includes, a personalized manual/workbook, stylus and continuation of manual development and will be held at the Junior League of Cincinnati. 

Participants will increase their confidence by learning Smartphone terminology, ways to stay safe while using their smartphone accessing essential services and will overall see how their smartphone can increase their quality of life. Participants will have hands-on experience with a Senior Guide paired with another participant. Our Senior Guides are older adults who have completed this basic class and are more than willing to help in a patient manner. Our small class size ensures individualized attention in a non-intimidating environment where participants are encouraged to ask questions.

Join other EngAging Seniors for a 1.5 hour workshop to learn how to access QR Codes safely and efficiently. Participants must bring their charged Smartphone to the workshop. One needs to attend one Become a Senior Guide 30 minute class listed below, sign a Senior Guide Agreement, and have a background check performed by EngAging Seniors before becoming a Senior Guide.
